IQ is a 45 ft (13.72 m) high performance sailing catamaran built by Voyage Yachts in 2010 with a purposeful design that is both stylish and safe. Route
Cruise from the Cape Town V&A Waterfront. Popular choices include cruising along the Atlantic seaboard taking in the exceptional views of Cape Town and Table Mountain, cruising passed Granger Bay on our port side and Robben Island on our starboard side. Table Bay and surrounding areas and routing is weather dependent.
Weather
Cruise time and cruise course are dependent on weather conditions and at the discretion of the captain. You and your guests’ safety will always be our primary priority.
What To Wear
Sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (e.g. trainers/deck shoes), no black soles or high heels. You will be required to remove your shoes or shoe covers will be provided. Bring a bathing suit and towel for those keen on taking a dip.
Onboard bar
There is an onboad cash or card bar available (List available). If you wanted to provide your own drinks a corkage fee of R2,000 will be charged. You can provide your own wine & sparkling wine for R100 per bottle. Please ensure these drinks are kept in your own containers and chilled with your own ice (no ciders, spirits, soft drinks, beers are allowed as it can be bought at our Bar on board).
Catering
Various menu options are available (attached). BBQ / Braai facilities available @ R500. Otherwise you are more than welcome to bring your own food and snacks. Catering is to be arranged 2 weeks prior to the charter. Cutlery, crockery & plates are not included so please bring your own.
DJ or Entertainer
We have numerous DJs on our supplier list and are happy to facilitate that for you. Cape Town based Singer/Entertainer details available on request. Should you wish to supply your own they will need to bring their own equipment and speakers. Use of the generator @ R500. There is also an onboard sound system with Bluetooth, AUX or USB connection if you wish to bring your own music.

The vessel will have strict COVID-19 Protocols in place and require all clients to please follow all regulations when entering the premises in order to reduce transmission. Here are a few simple steps to follow: 1) Please wear masks when entering the premises. 2) Sanitising of hands and temperature checks will be conducted before entering. 3) Client details are required for Track & Trace purposes. 4) Be aware of social distancing.
