IQ is a 45 ft (13.72 m) high performance sailing catamaran built by Voyage Yachts in 2010 with a purposeful design that is both stylish and safe. It offers a large open teak deck, comfortable cushioned seating area with roof covering and side screens as well as sunny spacious trampoline areas in the foredeck. Designed as both a live aboard cruising yacht with 2 x 39 Hp Yanmar engines, as well as the ultimate sailing catamaran for day sail excursions. This luxury catamaran is perfect for any occasion from tying the knot with your special person, to yacht parties and corporate functions. Overnight accommodation … after your cruising / sailing experience there is an unique option for staying overnight in the iconic V&A Waterfront, berthed right outside the Victoria and Alfred Hotel on the North Wharf adjacent to the adjacent La Parada Restaurant.
IQ has Cash / Card Bar, 2 x Heads (toilets), 1 x Galley (kitchen), Trampoline area & Roof Covering, onboard sound system, Padded Seating, teak decking, Blankets, free WIFI (coming soon). Following for us on private charters - Gas Braai facility, 2 x Swim ladders & freshwater shower. Water-toys and 2 x Double cabins (NB!! The use of cabins are only for overnight stay and not for daytime charters).
Join Cape Town Helicopters on a 25 minute helicopter flight. Take off from the V&A Waterfront & enjoy a scenic flight along the Atlantic Coast over to False Bay, passing Fish Hoek to Muizenberg. You will see breath taking views of the Mother City, we then head back towards V&A for landing. Afterwards set sail and join enjoy some sundowners on the prestigious IQ Catamaran. Enjoy the African Sunset at sea whilst sipping on a complimentary glass of champagne.
IQ has a Minimum capacity – 4 passengers. Maximum 34 passengers. Helicopter Flight - Minimum 2 pax.

Cruise time and cruise course are dependent on weather conditions and at the discretion of the captain. You and your guests’ safety will always be our primary priority.
What to Wear
Sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (e.g. trainers/deck shoes), no black soles or high heels. You will be required to remove your shoes or shoe covers will be provided.
Full crew and fuel for the trip. Complimentary champagne only (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic options available). Otherwise a cash / card bar is onboard for any other beverages. Free WIFI. 25 min helicopter flight.
The vessel will have strict COVID-19 Protocols in place and require all clients to please follow all regulations when entering the premises in order to reduce transmission. Here are a few simple steps to follow: 1) Please wear masks when entering the premises. 2) Sanitising of hands and temperature checks will be conducted before entering. 3) Client details are required for Track & Trace purposes. 4) Be aware of social distancing.
