IQ is a 45 ft (13.72 m) high performance sailing catamaran built by Voyage Yachts in 2010 with a purposeful design that is both stylish and safe. It offers a large open teak deck, comfortable cushioned seating area with roof covering and side screens as well as sunny spacious trampoline areas in the foredeck. Designed as both a live aboard cruising yacht with 2 x 39 Hp Yanmar engines, as well as the ultimate sailing catamaran for day sail excursions. Overnight accommodation … after your cruising / sailing experience there is an unique option for staying overnight in the iconic V&A Waterfront, berthed right outside the Victoria and Alfred Hotel on the North Wharf adjacent to the adjacent La Parada Restaurant.

Tour Description

Departing from the iconic V&A Waterfront, heading along the Atlantic coastline with picturesque views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Relaxing on the trampolines or on the padded cushions under covering whilst keeping an eye on the Atlantic waters for a chance to spot some of the incredible marine life that Cape Town has to offer such as Dolphins, Whales, Seals, Penguins and Sun Fish.

Cruise time and cruise course are dependent on weather conditions and at the discretion of the captain. You and your guests’ safety will always be our primary priority.

What To Wear

Sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (e.g. trainers/deck shoes), no black soles or high heels. You will be required to remove your shoes or shoe covers will be provided.

The vessel will have strict COVID-19 Protocols in place and require all clients to please follow all regulations when entering the premises in order to reduce transmission.
